The Last Samuri (sp)
I finally saw that movie yesterday. OMG what a great movie. I had tears in my eyes throughout the whole thing. The acting was wonderful, even from Tom Cruise. I could see this one again.
The dinner for my sister’s b/f went well. He liked it and was totally stuffed. After eating he laid on the floor and went to sleep. He had a nice day overall. He had two birthday cakes and got stuff he really wanted. Visited with all of his family and it seemed really special to him. I’m glad.
Talked to the Connecticut sister. She’s doing well. Lately we don’t seem to have much to talk about. I think it’s me. She’s been offered a manager’s position at her Sam’s. Right now she’s in charge of the cash office and likes that. She doesn’t want the manager position because she doesn’t want the hassle and also she’s about to start school, so it would be hard on her. Her b/f is glad she turned it down. I’m very proud of her for all she is accomplishing.
Tried calling Beverly to see how she is doing and how her new job is going, but she wasn’t home. I’ll try again anothe time. Connecticut sister said Bev is good, but tired from the job. Said that when she talked to Bev the other day that Bev must have been uping her dosage of vailum. She was slurring her words and just sounded bad. Bev is the sister that took over a job of mine once and had to take valium before going in each day. It wasn’t that bad of a job. She’s a druggie for sure.
That’s it for now. Bye.
boring trivia, that movie was filmed entirely in small town New Zealand (not my small town, an equally unattractive one)

I’m glad that the sister’s bf enjoyed his day. I *knew* you’d rock! 😉 Valium…oy…it’s a nasty and easily addictive bugger. My hubby said when I had to come off that stuff, I was a royal b*tch. ‘Course, the person with the addiction doesn’t see it that way, they just know they’re not very happy…er, worse yet, real angry. wish I had some words of encouragement there, my bad. ~Lys
