Monday, the boys had good days at school.  AJ’s schedule was screwed up.  They gave him GT/Honors math again.  It’s straightened out now.  They also gave him the wrong science.  I should say something because it’s really below his level, but his long time friend is in it and I want AJ to enjoy something this year.  Matt missed yesterday.  He was very sick, vomiting and other things.  He is better and went to school today.

Erin’s testing went well.  She didn’t get the teacher I prefered, but since I really don’t know any of them, I’ll let her stay in there.  She doesn’t start until Sept. 1.  I’m ready for her to go to school.

This getting up earlier is really kicking my butt.

Forwarded a joke email to a few people, the friend being one and he emailed me back asking questions about me and the family and brought up the wonderful weekend he had with his g/f and her family.   I answered his questions and didn’t expect anything back, since he never does.  He wrote me back asking about the sub teaching thing and saying how proud he is of me.  He doesn’t realize that basically it’s a babysitting job.  I won’t be doing any "real" teaching.  Still it’s nice to hear someone is proud of me for something.  Everyone needs to hear that once in awhile.
