My sister bought the whole family season passes to Lake Compounce last Sunday when she took the kids.  That was a big lump sum of money, but I’m very thankful to her.   The hubby and I took the kids today for the first time.  It was great.  The first thing I did was get  on a ride with the boys called the Zoomerang.  Big mistake.  I don’t do well on fast, loopy, dropping you from high heights rides.  The only other thing I rode was the ferriswheel and that even made me sick and scared.  I suck.

The water park was great!  The water was cold.  I loved it.  I thought I would be embarrassed by my grotesquely overweight legs being seen. It turned out that I was more embarrassed by the blinding whiteness of them.  I made it through and no one pointed at laughed.  Life was  good.

Last  night we went to another park near the place we are staying.  Every Thursday they have a band and people sit in the grass and listen.   This time we actually brought our folding chairs.   I didn’t care for the band.  It was  a steele drum band.  I admire their talents.   Just wasn’t what I was in the mood for.

Tomorrow I’m off to work  and dreading (I was told how to spell that ages ago, but forget again) it lol.  Wednesday is my regional audit and I know I’m not going to do well.   My sister got to do the other clubscash office audit, but of course being her sister, she can’t do mine.   So the scary Loss  Prevention Lady gets to do mine.  Like I’m  not stressed out enough at that job.

Sunday is Matt’s birthday party.  His birthday was on the 4th.  We spent it at my sisters.  Wasn’t the best of times. He’s having a party at the movies.  We’re seeing click.  It’s expensive and a lot of kids haven’t RSVP’d.   Oh well.
