The audit went OK for me.  I’m one of two areas that actually passed the audit.   I got two "no’s".   One was the most stupid thing I could do and something I never ever do.  I didn’t lock the safe 🙂  Other people were in my small office asking for things to do audits in other areas and people were wanting money.  I forgot to turn the freaking lock and sure enough the lady to do my audit came in and that was the first thing she checked.  The other "no" was not something I had control over.  The journal.   Claims hadn’t done their part, but the journal is on my audit so I got the no.   They come back on six weeks to do it all over again.   I was told that I’m doing a great job so that made me feel good.

I also found out that each manager has to be a mentor to someone in the club.  They have to choose "mentees" lol.   I love that word.   I was chosen as one.   When my sister told me that, she said she was never a mentee.  Made me feel good.  Too bad I never care to become a mangager or as we call them,  Coaches.   I’m not cut out for this supervisor stuff.   I need to get tough with one of the people under me now and I have trouble doing that.  Oh well.

We’ve gone to Lake Compounce a couple of more times.   I might be getting a little color on my freakishly white legs.  It’s hard to tell.

Last Saturday we went to this Extravaganza the little town we "live" in puts on every year for the past fifty years.  I love this town and that just made it for me.  I wish we could find a place to live here, but this is a little more expensive place to live than the city we’ve been looking in.   The Extravaganza was a lot of fun and ended with an amazing fireworks show.

As usual, even though it doesn’t sound like it from what I wrote above, life is pretty much sucky.  Things keep getting worse all the time.  The hubby lost another job yesterday.    They didn’t even have the nerve to tell him before he left for the day.  He was called later.  Crap!

The kids are OK for the most part.  That’s a plus.  It’s my day off and I have nothing to do.  They are doing something with the electricity in our room so we were pretty much kicked out.   I just wanted to lay around and do nothing, but now that I’m out and about with nothing to do, it’s no fun.  This isn’t making sense, but I don’t care to rewrite it.
