I don’t remember very much about the weekend.  Probably because nothing much happened.  Hubby worked Saturday night.  Hmm…

We bought the new Harry Potter book Saturday.  I’m almost finished.

The ex live in sister’s bf is gone to Texas for a few days. She spent the evening at my place last night and rented movies.  I finally saw Hitch.  Very good movie.  I also finally watched Office Space. Interesting.  I refused to watch the old Willy Wonka as I’ve seen it so many times it makes me sick.  I don’t care to see Million Dollar Baby either.  She’ll be back tonight.

Talked to Beverly yesterday.  She was feeling no pain.  She even called herself an "head".  At least she admits it.

I cooked a yummy dinner yesterday and we all sat at the table like real people 🙂   We have a small dinner table with only four chairs, so very seldom do we sit down to eat together.  We used a desk chair last night.  There wasn’t much room to put the food on the table, though.  Still it was nice.

The Connecticut sister told me she got a class for free.  It’s a three week course that is provided by some major company.  She even gets free books. If she passes this course she won’t have to take remedial math when she starts school in the fall.  Saves a lot of money. She is worried, though, because of all the work involved, but she knows she can do it.  She has also been without a cigarette for two weeks now.  I’m so very proud of her.

Bye.

It’s quite nice to sit at the table sometimes. Of course it is nice to balance dinner on your lap in front of the telly too….
