Gorgeous woman in green dress, hips swaying, one hand on the hip, the other floating seductively with a glass of wine, sometimes the finger extends to brush away an errant hair: Hollywood’s idea of beauty.

EXACT SAME WOMAN, dressed identically, with an awkward gait and a pair of glasses: Hollywood’s idea of crafting a nerd/geek. When she parties, it’s alone with ice cream lamenting how alone she was in grade school.

European film: geek woman probably has tattoos, a nondescript ponytail, perhaps hair dyed or streaked, chews gum with her mouth open in public and can probably kick your ass at any video game you throw in front of her. When she parties, she asks how badass your gaming rig is, and taunts you if it sucks.

Conclusion: move to Europe.
