ROXXXANNNNE in dance language.

‘El Tango De Roxanne’… it’s my new solo song.  The trick?  I’m dancing in HEELS.  6 pirouettes into a pitch wearing ballroom shoes?  I have got to be insane- if I can pull any of this off I am going to be almost godlike.  I am hella pumped.  And in case you don’t know what I’m talking about, this song is off the Moulin Rouge soundtrack.  It’s by the creepy guy with the most amazing voice in the world.  (And Ewan McGregor sings as well- I think it’s so nifty that Obi-Wan Kenobi can sing so well!)  His voice is just like… wow.  It gives me chills.  No more needs to be said on that.

So far (with my heels on) I’ve managed five pirouettes into a pitch, but I think I was lucky.  Four seemed to be the number to beat most of the time.  And do you know how hard it is to do fouettes in heels?  Cuz you can’t plie… GAH!  I almost rolled my ankle the first time I tried, hehe, because I tried to plie.  I haven’t gotten the balls yet to try even a Russian leap.

But the really good thing about all this?  I was dancing and decided I needed to see my leglines better so I rolled up my sweatpants.  Looking in the mirror I was like ‘Hmm… I have really nice legs.’  How come I never noticed this before? 
But I can’t wear shorts because I can’t wear flip flops (they don’t give my fucked up feet enough support) and sneakers and shorts make me look even shorter than I am.  : (  So I guess that’s why I never noticed- I’m busy being modest.  Hehe.

My boyfriend nicknamed me ‘Midget’ but I don’t think I’m really that short. 
Is 5’2 (1/2!!!) really that short????? 
He also told me that he hopes I fall out of a single pirouette while adjusting to dancing in heels.  He was pissed that I’m tango-ing without him.  ^_^

BAH!  I miss Kelly!  Stupid Marines, taking him from me.  ::sighs::

Wearing::  Cut off gray sweatpants and a bright blue/white halter top with a white rhinestoned sweatband. 
Last ate::  Way too long ago.  I guess I had an inch-long single Kit-Kat bar from the treat bucket (LOL I keep sneakin’ in there… I should stop soon before they’re all gone and the little kids don’t get any.)  But I ate oats with blueberries and Strawberry/Kiwi nectar this morning.
