Lucid Dreaming

Have you ever had a dream where you knew you were dreaming while you where in the dream. Well I have. It has happened twice but one time it was way better than the other time.

The first time I remembered I was at the top of a very large cliff. All I could see around me way blue sky dotted with clouds and a lucious expansive forest. There way have also been some sort of body of water. I was very very high up and I was standing at the tip of the cliff, I remember wanting to jump off. It was like I was at camp again and it was going to be a fun time. I was too afraid tho. I was to afraid of that feeling I get in my stomach and of the heights. But then suddenly it came to me, and in my head I thought "I’m dreaming, I can do anything I want, nothing will happen to me." That is when I decided to jump with no fear. I jumped off of the cliff and I started to get the rush in my stomach, only to awaken seconds later still feeling it.

The second one was longer and much better. I was at one of my birthday parties from when I was younger maybe 10 or something or maybe my teens, I don’t know. I don’t know who was there but I do remember standing in the hallyway and realizing I was dreaming. There was a girl next to me who was my friend supposably but I dont remember her face or who she was but I leaned into her ear and wispered to her "I’m dreaming right now". She was confused and must have thought I was crazy, to me at that time I felt like I had went through a time machine or something. Anyways, I told her that right now I am 19 and this is all a dream from my childhood. I don’t remember what she said but i dont think she believed me. Anyways the next thing I remember is walking outside, it was nice outside and I was going out to get something, then I remembered that I could do anything I wanted. I remember dan and josh telling me that when they have dreams like this they ussually fly so that is what I decided to do. In my dream I remember thinking like I want to try this, I want to know how they feel. They told me that you can just flap your arms and you will fly like a bird so that is what I did. I flaped my arms and with every flap I was pushed into the air effortlessly. It was like I was floating, being lifted from gravity and it was amazing to be in such a peacefull place, I flapped my arms fasting and I felt as if I was soaring and flying up and up and around and around, it was really nice but admist all of this flying I awoke.

So those were my dreams. My dad said that flying in your dreams means freedom. I am going to do it everytime now, I just hope it doesnt make me awake right away again. 🙂
