The News Today…RANT

Today:

Death…death…death…death…weather…death…helping the homeless…Breaking News: death!…more detailed weather…law may pass to try and prevent more death…death…Have a good evening.

WUUUUT?

Since when is being knowledgeable about our world mean keeping track of how many people die every day and in what way? Have we become that morbid? I mean, one story was about how a car crashed into some random bus stop and 2 people were killed…lesson learned: don’t stand in the bus stop…let’s fear bus stops…oooook…
Another story was how a woman murdered her baby…but the police aren’t able to tell us how…but let’s ask the neighbours because they’re willing to give some speculations in order to be on television looking like a dumbass for a couple seconds…"It’s scary"…YEAH!

Then they have the nerve to tell us to "have a good evening"…after we’ve pumped you full of misery…thanks evening news at 11…you have a good evening too…I’m sure you feel good after doing your duty about keeping us informed about the most important things going on in the world…
