what my life has come to…

This is really pathetic that not only do I think about these things, but I’m writing an entry about them.

At dinner tonight, I found my self wanting to say *gag*… as in the cyber *gag* that I might type in an AIM conversation. (Yes, I finally equate real life situations to the internet… scary.) I had one of two options… actually gagging, or saying “asterisk gag asterisk”, which is extremely dorky. (I ended up carrying out the latter of the two options…)

Why can’t we have a little finger symbol that means * *??? I mean, we have the little quotes ” ” thing that was plastered all over Austin Powers (thought you’d appreciate my mentioning your favorite movie Aims)! So darn it, I want * * symbols, hehe.

Last night I got 13 hours of sleep! It was heavenly. I think… I can’t really remember. But getting more than 6 hours was very very very nice. After the football game I had come home and gone online (of course) until 12:30. There was a lock-in at church, but I figured that as much as I would LOVE to go, I was reeeeeeaaallllyyyyy tired. So I went to bed and slept in until 1:30 this afternoon. This is a good thing, because now I’m only going to get about 8 hours of sleep tonight if I want to go to church. (Not that my parents would be going with me anyway… they’re still protesting. But at least I can drive now.)

I’m still a little bitter from the game. I wish the stupid seniors would just respect Mr. V for once. It’s like this… we’re supposed to dance or whatever when the drums do their cheers. Well the high and mighty senior saxes decided that we, as a section, are supposed to rebel, and therefore when we dance, we’re traitors to the section. First of all, screw them. Second of all… NO. So Chrissie, Emma, Nicole, and I decide we don’t give, and we danced anyway. So Sean, the tenor sax squad leader, gave Emma like 2 laps for dancing. I, as another squad leader, took them away. There is NO way she should be punished for doing what we’re supposed to! GRR! Sean, however, is going to make her run laps, and I’m not goign to let her! The thing is, if I take it to Mr. V, what could he do? Sean’s one of his best marchers and can get away with anything, plus he’ll just lose more control over the other seniors by punishing Sean. I wish I could do something, but as the lowly junior squad leader I can’t do jack. I honestly got along with Mike, Steve, Shawn, and Sean jsut fine until last night… arrrrrgh!

But anyway, I’ll leave on a good note! Um… I’m sure there is one… OH, riight. So Mr. H sort of hinted that there are only 4, I repeat 4 – not 5 or 6 – saxes in Wind Ensemble this year. This lessens my chances of making it. Darnit. OK, so maybe that’s not a good note? Oh well, lol…

Sure, I’ll change the color just for you, hehe. Yeah, my friends said the same thing too…maybe a darker one….
