Remember the FCMB!

Lol, tonight a bunch of us band nerds got together due to coach V, and went to see Remember the Titans. It was so much fun! Oh my gosh… football camp was soo band camp. At this one point a kid says, “hey coach… we’ve been out here all day… we need some water!” Denzel Washington, of course, refused them, or ignored it, or SOMETHING totally Mr. V-ish. I burst out laughing cause it was totally from band camp… hehe.

We’ve resolved to call V “Coach V” now. It’s so great. Although, now that marching band’s over and everything… (well after tomorrow it is!) *starts to cry* But we’re gonna kick some marching band BUTT out there tomorrow! The movie pumped me up! REMEMBER THE FCMB! They even showed the band a few times in the movie – it was awesome.

So… that was my lovely night out! The first Friday night with no football game, and what do we do? Hang out with band nerds and our director anyway. Hehe. (At least he’s only 24 so it’s not like… well, he’s not old yet.) Aims, Emma, and Kim – if you ever read this (well, I mean Aims I know you’re reading) – I LOVE YOU ALL! “FOOTBALL! *GRUNT GRUNT GRUNT GRUNT*” Hehe, okkkk so I’m a dork.

I was driving on the freeway with Aims – mind you this is the first time I’ve driven on the freeway since the day I got my license in August, the first time I’ve ever driven on the freeway without my parental unit or driving instructor, and the first time I’ve ever driven on the freeway at night – and suddenly she SCREAMS from the passenger seat. Scared me half to death, so I started yelling… She’s like, “It’s Mike and Amanda!” Sheesh… and I thought I was about to hit something… But I looked over, and yup… there he is, the moron, driving away, lol. Luckily he passed me and then got in front of me, so I followed him all the way to the movie theater. That made it not so… lonely or something. When we got to the theater, we passed coach and Trent on the road. Then there was this three way stop thing, and I was at one, and V was at the other. Ok, so I got to my stop first, so I’m about to proceed through the intersection when V totally slams on the accelerator and cuts me off. Nice example there! So then he, Mike, and I sped through the parking lot where we all parked in the clump. Mr. V was totally gloating… I was just like… GRRR! Then Trent pulled up beside me and just gave me this look. Weird stuff.

Eventually everyone showed up, and it was awesome! Hehe.
