“Pretty geeky.”

I love notes like that… where I’m called a geek! 😉 Ehh, it’s ok, it’s totally true. (Although I prefer the label “nerd” to “geek.”) Well, yeah, my title is really geeky, but so am I… so I feel it all works in the end.

First of all, let me say:

Happy two-year anniversary, my darling Chris.

Not that he reads this, but I wanted to say it anyway. And yes, I’m going to gush briefly: I never thought I could be so in love with anyone – I’m amazed at how wonderful life with Chris is, and it really does keep getting better. I feel honored that he is willing to be with someone who has achieved my level of geekdom, and I love that he, too, is a nerd in the BEST possible way. He the most kind, loving, and easy-going man I know, and I cannot imagine the rest of my life without him.

Ok, done with the gushing.

I go back to school tomorrow. I didn’t exactly write that paper, and I didn’t exactly edit anything for the magazine, or read anything for the magazine… but I sure did play a lot of World of Warcraft! Ahh yes, as you read my level of nerdiness rises in your eyes… will it ever stop? you ask. No. But I did get to catch up with Aimee, Kim, and Nolan while I was here, so I feel fulfilled in that sense, and I was able to spend time with Mom and Dad, and Carrie and Jeff. I was thinking… I’ll probably never live at home again… especially if I get an internship in C3 this summer. It was a strange thought… I didn’t think I was quite at that point yet, but I am.

Well, I’d better get to sleep. 4 1/2 hours of driving ahead of me tomorrow before I can see Chris! 🙂 (And give him the peanut butter cookies that I baked for him today – shh!)
