personal business day. ftw.

Ok, so here’s the deal. I took a personal business day today because the people from Ryan Homes are here doing our final review & fixing all of the nail pops and cracks in our drywall. Last time they did work at the house, they said they’d be done in the morning, but I ended up dealing with them until 5:30 in the evening. It was noisy, and working wasn’t very ideal. SO, for this time, I went with the (or at least what I thought was) smarter approach, and just took the entire day off. They’ve been here for almost two hours, but I actually think they’re going to be done fairly soon. Technically I could be working right now – there is some noise, and, of course, people talking to me, but it would’ve been doable.

But I’m not doing it. I refuse to work. I’m taking a personal business day, darnit! And I’m very excited about it. 🙂 I am checking email periodically, but that’s about it. Yaaaayy.

So anyway, I think the contractor thinks I’m working, so I’m trying to do something that at least resembles working. And therefore switched to writing to you, dear void, instead of playing minesweeper. =D I kind of want to watch Ellen, which is on right now, but that might be a dead giveaway. Not that I should care if these guys know I’m not working… but I kind of do.
