My Sister

My sister and I had an AWESOME time tonight. We went to Border’s Book Store. We’re such nerds… it’s great. We looked at the discount books, and we found this ADORABLE pop-up children’s Christmas book, so we picked it up for the girls next door. Then we went looking around, and my sis decided she wanted “Relativity” by Einstein. He actually wrote a book in plain English explaining his entire theory of relativity! And my sister actually wants to read it! Haha, I love her! She also decided she wanted an Atlas. I didn’t question it… she was just like, “Gosh darn it, I’m worth it!” Whatever – she’s in college, let her get an atlas. Then I picked up “Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul II” after reading one of the entries and totally relating to it. (I already have book I and the journal.) Then we perused the CD’s. She picked up a jazz string quartet CD. I looked through the Bill Evans, but couldn’t decide what I wanted! I’ve never SEEN so many Bill Evan’s CD’s! IT WAS HEAVEN! So I’ll just have to take my dad there with me so he can help me choose. I love Bill Evans, and darn it I want more!

That was a really long paragraph. Sorry! But anyway, the point was, as dorky as it may sound to some of you, we had an awesome time! We honestly had a blast! I love my sister soo much! We’re so wierd, but we’re wierd together, and I love it!

Here’s another rather stupid thing for me to think. I love driving around with my sister. She’s 19 and in my opinion gorgeous. I wish I looked like her – even though she denies it, but whatever. Anyway, it’s so much fun for the two of us to get not really dressed up, but looking halfway cute (for us anyway) and drive around. Even if I don’t look cute, I just feel so cute! It’s so stupid of me, but it’s a heck of a lot better than driving with my parents! It’s sort of a sister bonding thing, I guess.

We’re so different in some ways, but in others we’re so similar. We laugh at the same stupid things and come up with the same response… we understand what each other is saying even when our parent’s our lost. I love it!
