Let’s face it – I’m tired
(first person to call the quote gets… um… a nice happy note from me??)
Anyway, this getting up before 11am stuff is for the birds, let me just say that. Next, getting up before 8am shouldn’t exist ever again. I’ve gotten up at between 7:15 and 7:45 two days in a row now, and I’m sick and tired of it. The unfortunate part, is the fact that beginning Monday morning I’ll do that for 5 days straight. Bah! Seriously, they should push back curfew to 2am, and push back starting to like, 10am… and even though there still wouldn’t be enough sleep and it would be the same amount (if not less) sleep – I really truly believe everyone would be happier. So there.
I went shopping with Mom tonight for more camp supplies. In addition to my activities responsibilities, I’ve taken it upon myself to be the camp fairy. I remember when show choir used to go on trips (and when we, the combo went with them), the chaperones (ok let’s face it, the moms) used to put little goody bags and such on our doors, so that when we’d get back from a long day it would cheer us up. We always thought it was really nice, and it actually did brighten our days (or nights). Sooo… we have things planned for each of the four nights (not the first night) for me to put on their doors before they get home, and then tonight I printed off little slips of paper to put with them with little graphics. Things like, “Halfway there!” with an image of a half-eaten candybar – we’re giving them little candy bars Wednesday evening. Stupid? Perhaps, but I thought it was cute… geez high school people are hard to please.
Anyway, I’m tired, I should be sleeping… blaaaahhh. I’m so bored, I really am. And what’s worse? Oh that’s right, I can’t keep my eyes open at this early hour of 1:23am because I had to get up so freakin early. And my boyfriend’s over at Jeff’s apartment hanging out and drinking… and I’m jealous. I miss him… I miss them… I miss hanging out… (have I mentioned I want a screwdriver?)… I don’t know. I miss being “home” – you know, college home.
Goodnight dear void (another quote??) and readers…
eek
ok, first one stumps me….but the second…is that from Youve Got Mail? “I don’t really want an answer. I just want to send this cosmic question out into the void. So goodnight, dear void.” hm….just a guess. RYN: I used to go to college, I am planning on going back again next year when I get back from Europe.
