let me tell you what I shouldn’t know

The other night I logged on to my college account to look at my schedule. (I was too lazy to just walk upstairs and get mine, but it turned out to be a blessing that I was lazy.) I noticed, oddly enough, that I only had 10 credits all of a sudden. Even stranger was the fact that my GER 201 class and my MTH 153 class were completely erased from my schedule. Rather than being totally concerned, however, I realized that perhaps I had APed out of those classes! I looked up the GER 202 class, but it was full. Furthermore, even if I somehow managed to get into that class, it conflicted with my honors american studies course, so I’d have to drop that. I also had to decide whether I would take regular old MTH 249 (calculus II), or MTH 249.H (honors). I was searching through a bunch of regular classes to replace the american studies course, and the well was dry, my friends. Everything was already closed.

I felt trapped, I felt frustrated, and I was even a little upset that I had to reschedule after all of the frustration of the first time. I emailed the honors faculty schedule person, because the only way you can add or take off honors classes is through her.

She emailed me back yesterday, and told me exactly what I had APed out of the following: ENG 111, ENG 112, GER 201, GER 202, and MTH 151.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which means that I didn’t have to change my schedule at all, because I don’t have to take German period. She was kind enough to add honors calc II to my schedule.

Let me tell you what all of this means. It means I already have 17 semester hours filed, which means I can get away with 15 credit hours this semester. It means I had to have gotten a 5 on my english exam, at least a 4 on my german exam, and at least a 3 on my calculus exam. That, quite frankly, makes me so happy I could… I don’t know, do something showing my happiness.

WOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

-grins-

Just had to tell you. Of course, when we actually get our AP scores, I’ll make sure and tell you the absolute final results.
