I have come to a decision.

I think I should stop writing in German. HAH. And you thought it was going to be something profound. Goodness, what an overwhelming response to the German. Everything from notes back in German, Spanish notes, French notes, anti-German notes, and threats to never read my LOVELY diary again! (and yes, Matthew, dreamergrrl was *hurt* by that)

“To fight the unbeatable foooooeeeeeeeeee!!!” <–that's for Erin. Um, not me Erin. And not the pixie Erin. The other one. Yeah you. *too many Erin's floating around here*

“The Thane of Fife had a wife… where is she now?” ~that Scottish play

HAH I could just say that quote all day. Do you realize how great that is? Oh, the GREATER thing is, however, the fact that when the Armed Head warns Macbeth about Macduff, who, by the way, is the Thane of Fife, we’re going to have a fife playing! For our project that is… um, backing up.

We have to do these Macbeth projects, right? Well Laura and I are working together, and we decided to pick out a scene and write musical themes with different instruments to reflect the characters and/or plot. WELL… so far we’re using tons of instruments. Laura is playing: french horn, flute, snare drum, recorder, and various percussion instruments. I am playing: piano, alto sax, clarinet, fife, and recorder. What can I say? We’re a talented duo… Anyway, we’re doing Act 4 scene 3 I believe, where the witches make the apparitions appear to Macbeth. The witches will have a theme of piano, french horn, and various WACKO percussion instruments. All which can be found within my house. There are WAY too many instruments in my house. Did I ever mention that? Macbeth is an out duo of alto sax and french horn. The bloody child (apparition) is clarinet, the crowned child holding a tree is the flute and a rainstick, and the armed head is a drum and fife. The 8 kings are represented by 2 recorders and a triangle which we’re going to have beaten by SOME various person in my class. So that’s our project. It’s really hard to write music. Yeah. Time-consuming too.

So it’s 47 degrees out. WHOO it’s almost spring. HEHE… yeah well I had my windows down today when I was driving. It felt really nice. But it’ll feel nicer on Wednesday when it’s 60!! *grins… with that look of heavenly contenment on face (involves closing eyes I believe)* Can you believe this!?! It’s almost 7 and it’s still way bright outside! Darn daylight savings time.

Well, I’m off to be

hee hee, my Macbeth project was a video, and since we didn’t have enough people, half the characters were sock puppets…Banquo had a sock puppet for Fleance, and when Banquo screamed “Run Fleance, run!” he threw the puppet through the air…just thought I’d share that random thought about the Scottish play…

Oooh…Macbeth is a good one…well, many of his works are good…but Macbeth is good too! 🙂

OOH!! That’s so cool. Your lucky to be such music-girl-ish. We have tons of instruments in our house, too, but only my dad can play most of them. My favorite part in MacBeth was when they tell everyone someone killed the king, or whoever it was, I think it was the king, and lady MacBeth goes, “What?! In our house?!?”

wow…good luck on your project…it sounds pretty hard…and i think you shouhld stop german too… hehehe…well i only say that because i cant understand it 🙂 i speak spanish…hehehe…and it is only 47 degrees??? brrrrr…thursday here it is supose to be 90 🙂 i like anything in the 90 degree range 🙂 anyway have a great day!!! *HUGS*
