~hingerissen~

I can’t stand it any longer. Really, I can’t. So my photography class is not exactly in the best of neighborhoods, but it’s also not like oh, say where my sister’s COLLEGE DORM is freaking located. Did I mention I’m one of two teenagers in this adult class? As if I didn’t feel too young already… now I have my mother driving me there? She won’t let me go without her. It’s crazy. I complained, and do you have any idea what she said? “Well you can drive, but I’m riding in the car.” *wide eyed – motions wildly* Are we SEEING how much sense this statement does not make? That completely defeats the entire purpose of my driving altogether. I can’t even believe it. My sister drove to an area near where I have to go every freaking Saturday when she was in high school. By herself. Not fair. She might as well hold my hand as we enter the building.

Just some choice words to lift your spirits! Let’s see, anything else I can come up with? I’ll give you a dose of dreamergrrl theory – and yes I do say this to my friends.

“We’re all such dorks. But it’s ok, because if not all of us were, than someone would be a dork alone. At least we’re dorks together!” ~dreamergrrl

Smitten. What a funny word. I wonder how to say that in German. Well the dictionary seems to find “verliebt” a good substitute, but verliebt means to fall in love with. And it’s so not the same thing. Not at all! Hinreissen means to carry away or electrify. I’m thinking this definition is somewhat like swept away. *nods head* Yes yes… definately swept away. (Perhaps not, but doesn’t it SOUND like it?) Gefegen hinweg just doesn’t sound as lovely as swept away, or hingerissen…

Ok, this verdict just in: It’s way too cold in here! Es ist ZU kalt! Il fait TRES froid! Like, a lot. Like sehr… like… beaucoup. *shivers* I can’t handle it. *looks around* Where’s the June we all know and love? What is with this cold stuff? BELIEVE me, we get enough cold in winter. I guess I should be thankful it’s not snowing or anything, but to be honest… it WOULDN’T REALLY SURPRISE ME! I need to stop this ranting entry. </rant>

So we’re eating couscous tomorrow. I love that stuff… and we’re going to make mass quantities. What’s not to love about it? Yeah instant couscous. *grins* It’s better than rice, but it’s smaller than noodles… it’s a combination. I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT! Almost as good as cheese. But not quite. Behold the power of cheese! As in the cheese pizza the saxy ones devoured today? Haha… yeah. Yeah saxy ones.

Well, on that hingerissen note, I’d like to add that Meg is hingerisst with Scott, and that also that other city faction (Andy and Alex) might be coming here on Saturday? Fun? I should think so? 🙂

For now, I’m being

Hey~ i know exactly how u feel about PARENTS! it kills me when mom tells me what 2 do, it just drives me insane!!

When my sister and I were little kids, we were at a resturant once, eating couscous. Erin (my sister) wasn’t very old and therefore quite a bit didn’t quite make it into her mouth, which initiated a chant from me: “Erin has a couscous face! Erin has a couscous face!” But that didn’t really have a point.
