dreamergrrl looked… hot?

I looked hot tonight. WOO-HOO! Lol… how great is that? Chad told me I looked hot. I do believe that is the first time a guy has ever said that I looked hot. Mark it in your calendars, people. 🙂

But for real… (even though he DID say that)… tonight was my recital. Well… it went well! I was pretty pleased with it, except for a memory slip on a G# in the second prelude by Gershwin, which I played first. And there was this one run in the first prelude, which I played second, that I ALWAYS nail. Not tonight… whoops. But, I am happy to say I hit the last note. You have no idea how pleased I am to say that. It’s one of these deals where you have a huge chord in each hand towards the top of the keyboard, and then immediately followed by a single, loud note which inevitably is at the bottom of the keyboard. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I hit it AND keys around it, sometimes I totally miss. I usually get it, but I’ve not gotten it enough times to worry about whether or not I’d get it on the recital. WELL… I nailed it. Kind of floored me. I sat there for a second after I was done just thinking, “Wow! I got that note!” It was happy…

Did I mention Chad said I looked hot? (Oh, and it’s not the fact that Chad said it… because eww Chad? He’s totally all Marcia’s. It’s just the fact that it was said to me by a person of the male persuasion. *grins*)

Oh, and you know that entire crying thing? Are we noticing the mood swings today? Well, I come home from the recital and realize, maybe it’s NOT just my psychotic tendencies. All I can say is, thank GOD it’s not band camp! *relief*

I’d better go socialize with my family… I’m off being
