dreamergrrl gets a boyfriend

I really don’t know whether to blame my DSL line for not functioning, my life for allowing me no time, or myself, for not taking initiative to write… but I haven’t for awhile, ehh?

I suppose I should let you know a few things. After Nashville, Alex broke up with Vanessa. On the way to Chicago, Alex asked me out. Thus, at 9:10 pm (EST), or 8:10 pm (Central time… where we were), on March 7, 2002, dreamergrrl got a boyfriend. Again? Somehow this year is incongruent with the rest of my life.

At any rate, I really couldn’t possibly be happier. Alex has been one of my best friends for almost 6 months now. We know so much about each other already… we’re so comfortable with one another already. And all that passion that I used to miss? It’s definitely there. Definitely. I can honestly look him in the face and say “I love you…” meaning every word of it.

Yes, there’s a little controversy over the entire Vanessa thing. Ok, so there’s a lot of controversy. Especially because she wants to “scratch [my] eyes out.” Hmm… but I’m trying to overlook that, though I do understand. Actually, despite what a lot of people think, I did care about her feelings in the process. I guess some people would say I just didn’t care enough.
