diversity among friends…

I can’t tell you how much fun I’ve had this week. It’s been so great to just do whatever… and see so many people and truly have fun.

After Senior Project Exhibition on Monday, Kim, Aims, and I went out to Max & Erma’s to grab a bite (or a heck of a lot of food) to eat. Lord we pigged out, but it was great. Then Becky and Emma joined up with us, and we drove back to Aimee’s house. Aims remembered that Ron was supposed to be over at Goo’s house, so we pile in my car and head down the road, when who do we see walking down the street toward Aimee’s? RON AND GOO! So I stop the car, the girls jump out and attack the boys, I blare my music, the boys attack my car, I get all pissy and Sister Mary-ish on them, we turn around, and go back to Aimee’s. We hung out there for awhile, which was most amusing – the entire old family (with Becky) – the entire incestual things happening as usual… wonderful. Then the boys left for Garett’s, and Aimee and Becky rented The Others.

Good movie. But I have a really active imagination. Worse than Carrie, I think. -smiles- Let’s just say there was Aimee, me, Kim, and Emma all piled on the couch. Kim and emma and I were all sort of entangled together, and Kim, being the dutiful sister that she is, held my hand for the entire movie, as my other hand was preoccupied with the pillow in front of my face. Aimee’s shoulder also served as a nice comfort device to my head. 🙂 Man, I think we all screamed and jumped at one point… hehe.

Last night I got to hang out with an entirely different crowd. I was on the phone with Gretchen, when Doug called from a cell phone. (Meg had left a message earlier too.) They wanted me to go play laser tag, a game I’d never played in my life. Well, I finally found my way to the bowling alley, and I played laser tag. It was Doug, Meg, Justin, and Brian, against Steve, Jay, James, Shannon, and myself. So much fun!!!! I absolutely loved it! Of course, my points weren’t registering, but that doesn’t matter. I got into it, and by the end I’m pretty sure I was halfway decent! We were pretty disgusting by the end, but it was great. And I felt like I had halfway proven myself to those boys whom I don’t usually hang out with, persay? 😉 Whatever.

Afterwards we went over to Meg’s house for a fire, marshmallows, pretzels, grapes, soccer, fun stuff. Kim, Kelly, Chris, Liz, and Adrienne all joined us eventually. Fun times.

Today Goo and I were supposed to build a sandcastle. That didn’t happen… Mom got all upset and stressed and wanted us to clean the house and my room. Well, my room is still a war zone, but it’s getting there… I promise, Garett, we will build one… and they will come… -nods-

Love to all of you – it’s been fun hanging out with each and everyone one of you here in ODland in reality!

I know how moms get. The whole “I’m not going to sit here alone and clean the whole house by myself while you go party with your friends all day everyday” deal. Anyway, the weather’s been crappy, but ya know, look where we live. I think I gotta go get grandma on Friday from Pennsylvania (road trip), but sunday could be available

I hate being sick. I miss out on EVERYTHING!
