dang the whole thing… but not

Meg is so right. In the summer, the band people click more than ever. How can we not, with only 4 weeks in summer with no band? Our only break is between July 4 and July 30… summer band and the start of mandatory band. We see each other for 3 to 4 hours a day, and then plan things for after band… weekend plans… night plans… It’s only natural that we get so tight. *smiles* And I love it!

Yesterday was a church day. But it was SO a band day at the beach, too! I was there for church… with a bunch of church people… but then there was Aims and Jane too! And Goo… who doesn’t really fit into either category, but we’ll stick him in the band category, just because he’s always with us. Stream of consciousness. Goodness.

Way to tell me it’s Sarah’s birthday today and that you sent her a card. Even though you never sent me a birthday card in the two years you’ve known me. *breathes and smiles* What hostility? There’s none. It’s fine. But really, it is. It was just a conversation killer. Like we need any more of those in this stage of our almost-friendship. *andy*

BAH! I’m going to cry. I was talking to Brian online forever just now. I guess Kathy called him, and wants him to go to a swimming party tonight with youth group. So he wanted me to come… and I CAN’T because my parents would kill me. I already turned Nate down for going to the beach. Bah. And Brian was making it so hard for me to say no… but I did. Now I’m sad. Which gives me hope, because he was pretty persistant in trying to get me to go… but it makes me utterly miserable at the same time. *sigh* *frowns*

I was just looking through hundreds of buddy icons. I finally found a band nerd one that’s not “March On” like my old one. Of course, it has a clarinet instead of a sax, but whatever. I’ll deal with it. I also found a punk pride one… which makes me really happy. As well as a tuba buddy, a bass drum buddy, and a “there is no spoon” buddy. Hehehe… OOOH and a “Magical Mystery Tour” buddy. YEAH last year’s band show! Hahaha…
