clearing up the last entry

Ok, I was referring to a guy named Jeff, (remember the pseudo-date that never happened?) actually, who is in Chicago right now visiting his girlfriend. However, Dani, Chris actually does have a girlfriend right now. Her name is Jill, and she lives on the first floor of our dorm. 🙂

Well, *sigh* it’s quiet and snowy and quite peaceful around here right now. Almost the entire campus left for the weekend, being Valentine’s Day and a three day weekend. Last night seemed to last forever… and guess what – I have three more days to deal with here. Boring, no homework, not many people… weirdness. But I think I might read… I think I might sleep… watch a movie or two… you know, whatever.

I wasn’t going to talk about it, I really wasn’t, but I’m going to. Got little depressed last night… thinking how nice it would be to lie there on my bed with a guy’s arms around me… just holding me. I guess the combinations of things just kind of built up… and I was stuck thinking, why do things happen like Jeff? It’s confusing, and no one seems to understand it. And then I hate that some people are in relationships right now, and are depressed because their significant others are in NYC for the weekend intsead of spending it with them… GET OVER IT CHRIS – AT LEAST YOU HAVE SOMEONE. And then there are people who have relationships and still aren’t happy… and maybe I have it better than them… just maybe. Then I become ridiculously attached to people who aren’t here at school, and that just depresses me more, because I shouldn’t, and I don’t, but I do.

And yet my best friends here are guys… (with the exception of Meg and Kelly)… I think I’d die with Alex, Chris, and Steve. And even if I don’t see them quite as much, Nate and Dane. And in the distance are Steve D. and Aaron…

Wouldn’t it be crazy cool if somehow I managed to go to ONU this weekend???
