But it should be a good day!
It’s an ORANGE day… I should be having a WONDERFUL day. I walked into school today wearing my lovely bright orange shirt, and 20 feet ahead of me who turned the corner? Well, I would normally say orange pants, but in this case it was a LITERAL orange shirt ON the figuritive orange pants! It’s totally a sign. Ok, so half the school (ok maybe I’m exaggerating, but still a lot of people) was wearing orange! That was very happy. I thought it was gonna be a lovely day.
I got an E.C. point in chem for pointing out that telluride should have read monotelluride. Then my former shirt rumpled my hair at the vending machines 4th mod??? Is that good or bad? Can’t tell. But then I had all my tests and who knows how I did on those. The AP US test was sooo fricking hard.
I didn’t really talk to my pants at all yesterday, which was sad, but I’d talked to him like Sunday and Monday for a long time, which was nice. I swear his sensitive side reveals itself a little more each time we talk. It’s so cute. But anyway, I’m talking to him right now. I told him, well, basically everything from my last entry, and he was really nice about it like usual.
But he didn’t notice that everyone was wearing orange… that’s kind of, well, sad.
If I have to speak to Jon one more time I think I may scream. NOt that I talked to him at all today, it just made me sick anyway. It’s like, the first day of school in English class we had this stupid “go to a corner for this choice and meet the people in the class” activity, and I remember being in his corner a few of the times. And, well, he was being extraordinarily NICE to me… but yeah nevermind since I actually know him now.
OHHHHHH I totally never mentioned having seen attendance boy totally close up on Thursday! Ok ok ok, so for English we were allowed to go to a computer lab. So it ended up me along with Matt, Steve, and Jon going to a computer lab. Yeah Jon and I fought the whole way to the lab, and Steve was just like, “yeah this should be fun”. Heh, oh yeah. So I sit down at a computer in the library. The computers are like in a backwards U, if you can imagine that, so that everyone’s back is in the center of the U, and you’re facing outside of it. Well there was a table a few feet in front of my computer where I could see it. And who was sitting there, like RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE? Attendance boy. I’ve increased my passing him from once to twice a day since last year. I seem to remember finding out his name, but I don’t remember what it is. I can’t decide whether he has no life, and this is why he’s always there, or whether he just has nothing better to do. Every morning he’s standing there when I pass. Between 11 and 12 everyday he’s sitting in there. Occasionally I’ll see him delivering a pass or whatever, but nothing more.
So does this kid even take classes? Seriously, let’s examine the situation. He obviously has nothing better to do before school than deal with sick people. Ok, and then he obviously has free mods 11-12, when he’s there again. But my English class is 13-14… and he was in the library. Not WITH anyone, just sitting at a table DOING something. So are we to assume these are free as well? Or was he there for a class? Or does he have a 3 mod class at the end of the day and only have mod 13 free? (Why I even bother analyzing the situation I’ll never know…) But anyway… he’s still there.
