busy

I was actually relatively productive and busy today. First day I haven’t been bored at all, and I didn’t even do everything I had planned on! I ironed for a good part of the day… Mom’s ironing had been piling up (mostly Dad’s stuff, grr) and because she’s been so stressed lately, I tried to help her out. Then after taking a break, she and I made cookie dough (for two types of cookies). I finished that up, did some dishes, ate dinner, took a shower, and then practiced piano for a little bit. I obviously don’t have very hard pieces right now, since I’m just trying to get my strength and technique back, so it really doesn’t take much time to practice them. Now I’m just watching tv and playing Jumper 2 (because I finally beat Jumper 1 !!!!!). Most exciting. Oh, and I have a load of laundry in.

Hopefully I’ll get a chance to read tonight, because I really want to. If I got to Grandma’s with my parents tomorrow, I should have an entire day to myself while my family is out golfing, so that will be some nice reading time. I just need to stop staying up so late doing meaningless things and reading instead!

Ahh yes… the parents are proceeding to bed, I’ll have to tuck them in in a few minutes.

Speaking of which, I miss Chris tucking me in. I miss sleeping with Chris for that matter… it’s so strange to have an entire double bed to myself when I’m used to sharing a twin a couple nights a week. (Strange can be nice too… ;D)

Still haven’t been able to get ahold of Dustin. Maybe he’s travelling all over the US like last summer. (He’s a Canadian.) Sean ended up IMing me after all yesterday… sounds like he’s doing well. I was thinking about Bren… I always wonder where she is… what she’s doing with herself… anyone remember her? GuitarGirl – she was truly an awesome person.

Total topic change: David Letterman has this little water spout thing that he can turn on in the front of the Ed Sullivan Theater… he keeps turning it on to spray random people walking past. It’s hysterical, yet insane, and I’m sincerely glad to not be one of those people. 😉

Oh, and Dave just reminded me that we need to seriously get George W. out of the White House. It’s time to have a human with a brain leading this country. Ok I’m done (if you want more you’ll have to ask for it).

Ok now I’m just writing for the sake of writing. Until I decide to write again…

I would say welcome back – but they say you can’t come home again. Happy literary rebirth! We have much to say. I will be emailing you.
