Addicted to the Internet

Why am I so addicted to being online? I’ll have times when I have no desire to be online, but those times are few and far between.

I love to talk to people, if I can’t be with them. I love to write in my diary, I love to email, I love to meet people! Maybe it is unhealthy to be staring at a screen and wasting time as much as I do, but I do love it!

It’s pathetic how I hate to go out of town because I won’t be able to communicate. I mean, yes, I’ll have an AWESOME time at Reach Out. I’ll be there for an entire week, following which I’m going on a week vacation with my family. This will be awesome – relaxation, sun, the lake… Very nice! But during that time I will also have no access to a computer, let alone a modem. It’ll kill me…

I mean, yes, I have only been addicted since September, but I’ve also had to suffer several times. Our computer crashed – gone for about a month. Then our modem in our new computer died – that was another month of no internet access. I found other things to do – started listening to the radio non-stop, but it drove me crazy a few times. Some people I never talk to unless it’s online! It’s a horrible thing, lol…
