9 hours of band…
Hell? What? Oh, wait nevermind. There were too many heavenly parts to quite describe it as hell. Perhaps purgatory.
Roll call for band was 4:30pm. I didn’t walk in the door of my house until 1:45am. And I came straight home from band… are we seeing the wrongness? The bus ride to competition was over 2 hours away. In fact, we nearly ran out of time in getting there, many thanks to Mr. V’s lovely mis-timing. As usual.
Did I mention how aggravating it is to have an assistant director who refuses to learn the commands? Ok, so fine… you directed the damned marching band for 16 years. You had your own commands. Great. Lovely. But you’re not the head honcho now. You’re the assistant, and things change. Like commands. Last year I could understand. Reflex. But this is our second season. If you want to get any respect, learn the commands. The only people that know what you’re talking about when you say “B-ntion HUT!” are the seniors. All 12 of us. *ooh* Band… atten hut! (HUT!) Mmm, not that hard. *coughjerkcough*
There are plenty of other band-related issues I could rant about, but I’ll refrain. No one likes a complaining me. I will add, however, that we got another 2… I’m pretty sure we were only a couple of points away from a 1. And the darned flags ran away with another trophy. *gags* Like they need their heads inflated at all in addition to their slutty tendencies. *slaps mouth* Oh, that’s probably considered ranting and complaining, isn’t it? Whoops…
*walks away innocently*
I highly enjoy how this senior year is turning out. I really do. I love my classes, love my nicely free-mods packed around each of my classes schedule, love most of my friends, love the fact that I have a life, love how everyone is finding someone. It’s true. So many seniors are finally dating. It’s kind of crazy how many there are… and it’s wonderful. I’m one of those people I used to despise! (and of course secretly wanted to be like) All these people starting to find happiness… all these guys FINALLY asking girls to dances. Is this a normal senior response? Or is there just something in the air of ****** High? Hehe.
I suppose I shall be

Our last away game was an hour and a half away, but the ride seemed to barely last minutes…it was nice. I do’nt know what you are going through, my freshman year was the year our new director came. the only thing hard was we made up new faces (because that’s logical to do…) and now they are just turns instead of all twirley for us dear ole’ squad girls!
