My weekend :-)

I enjoyed another wonderful weekend J. I worked until late on Friday night, you know, weekly maintenance, team meeting, roster for next week and what not lol, also, there was a work party too but I don’t drink so didn’t go. How many mock-tails will you drink sitting there all the time lol?

I reached home and watched a very wonderful and super-cool movie ‘Jab We Met’; title means “When We Met”. It was a nice romantic movie with a bit humor of-course lol. I had heard of it a lot but never got the chance to watch as I hardly go to cinema hall (only if someone pushes lol). My brother bought the DVD last week so I decided to watch it and it was really good. I had watched the 80% of it and then electricity gone lol (another good point of living in India, they want you to sleep in time lol). Since, it was Saturday the next day, which means no work so I came online (laptop battery lasts for 3-4 hours) and chatted with a friend from OD, it was good but we ended-up on not a very happy note lol.

Saturday, I woke up in the morning and straight away called a friend who lives nearby to know what was his plan for the day, since I had not gone to see my parents this weekend and had nothing to do so thought of spending sometime with him as his wife was away lol. You know, guys don’t get much time for friends after they are married L.

I took a quick shower and was at his place thinking that I would get to eat some good Indian breakfast as I was bored of my usual bread and cereals but no, he was more lazy than me and didn’t cook anything special so again that boring bread and butter with tea lol.

Watched some TV together and then I told him I didn’t have a jeans for Friday dressing, my only pair are having holes in them now so we went to the nearest mall and I bought a nice pair of jeans, Levis, my favourite J. Then I bought some other stuff for me and then we headed to railway station as his wife was coming, picked her up and they left in my car and I headed to see another friend, I wanted to kill time so chose to visit a bachelor this time lol. But a typical IT professional, he was at work even on a Saturday, never-mind, I reached at his work, convinced him no use of working on Saturday lol, and visited some old furniture shops, he wanted to buy something that I know he wouldn’t lol.

Spent few hours, then got a call from my brother asking what was I doing, I said nothing much so he asked me to join him at a pub haha, I was avoiding it last night and the very next day I had to go there lol, he was treating few of his friends there so I joined him too, I am friends with most of them so I didn’t mind J. It was fun meeting all of them, most of the time, I kept laughing, all funny guys haha. Got to eat a few new dishes too, which was a good experience J.

Came back home and slept. Nothing much on Sunday did washing and dishes, came online and chatted to OD friends <span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: bl

Watched TV and came online and chatted again lol. In the evening, went to a mall where my sis-in-law got me my birthday gift (my birthday is tomorrow, 11th March), she got me a cool casual shirt J. It’s really nice, checks with funky cuffs J.

Overall, a cool and enjoyable weekend J.
