I played cricket this weekend
And it turned out to be a very bad decision lol. I can feel the pain all over my body as well as cramps in right thigh haha. Actually I dont do any physical exercise or go to zym or anything like that and it was a long back when I played cricket last. And on this Saturday, my best friend came in to see me, and we were just chatting and then elder brother came in and told us he was feeling like to play cricket and thats all a guy needs for cricket in India haha.
In no time, we all were on the playground and ready to play and in fact we didnt have any wickets or bat, we just had a ball lol. Then I borrowed a bat from a guy and used bricks for wicket lol (normal practice in India) and then we started off and as per my habit I chose to bowl first and very soon I realized how fool I was to chose it lol. It takes a lot to bowl than bat so I was tired soon while my friend was enjoying his shots lol.
Finally we changed the rules of the game and got him out (cheating of-course lol). Then I was quiet happy to hold a bat after a long but I got out on the third ball lol and my brother and friend started teasing me lol. It was really very bad; I bowled very hard to get them out and could bat only for three deliveries lol.
Anyways, I got my turn again after a few minutes and this time I was determined to play for a longer time so I used my whole body to not to get out haha. I just stood in front of the wickets and didnt care if the ball was hitting my legs, abdomen or bat lol. Good fun after a long but realizing the consequences now. I guess, we all should keep doing a little exercise or aerobics at least.
Did I mention we were playing with a tennis ball not a proper cricket leather ball lol.
i love to watch cricket but i know id never ever be any good at it, lol
