I am back

It’s a short entry to just let you guys know that I am safely back and had a blast during the trip. I will resume reading you guys now and leave the notes too, it will take some more time though lol.

I didn’t know South India was so green and beautiful, nice and clean beaches too if compared with West Indian beaches. We all enjoyed the trip except a little bit of food problem. I mean, except my brother and I, all were struggling with South Indian cuisine and we kept asking people about North Indian restaurants lol.

And I personally enjoyed the food too, I mean, you should enjoy the local food too else what’s the use of exploring new places etc if you don’t try out new food and things, my brother even tried their ethnic wear haha.

And the language was the biggest barrier there. We speak only Hindi and English and usually people there speak English too but if you are talking to a waiter in a restaurant or a cab driver etc (people that couldn’t study much), we had big time challenges lol. We would ask him to take us to a church and he would say “yes” to show he understood but wouldn’t go there and then I had to step down from the cab and first search for a person who speaks English and Tamil/Telugu (local language) both and then I would explain him what I want and then he would translate to the driver haha, big time pain.

Apart from this, everything went fine; we visited the Balaji temple too (the richest temple in the world and the second most visited religious place in the world after Vatican). Mummy-papa were too glad to be there :-).
