First swimming session

Today is the first swimming class ever for my niece at school. She was super excited about it lol. Though she seems scared of water lol and only God knows why but was looking forward to it :-).

I can remember she was not ready to come with us in the seawater on the beach when we were having fun in Chennai during our recent trip to there. She was too busy with her sand castles lol. And when my brother lifted her up from there and asked her to play in water she acted like she had some water-phobia haha. I think she got scared of waves and their sound too, was seeing the sea and beach first time in her life so quite natural. But at times, she throws tantrums in shower too, funny girl.

But yeah, she was very excited about her swimming class today and was letting us know that her mummy got her a nice pink swimming costume (typical woman feature) and she would have fun the next morning and blah blah blah. And we couldn’t understand why she was saying that she would ride a bike there haha. Will get to know about it tonight.

Though I am sure, she would throw a big tantrum at school too once she would be in front to the pool but I am thinking she would cope fine when seeing other kids having fun in and would like to join them :-).

Her school management asked for a medical certificate stating she was fit for the swimming and didn’t have any congestion problems. Asking for such certificates might be a common practice in West but not here in India so I really liked it.

So, let’s see how she managed it and I hope she had fun too, I am excited too :-).
