Another cool weekend

I spent this weekend at my sister’s place as I had told in my last entry, it was simply amazing playing with Molly (my niece) and babysitting my nephew too while their parents were away for nephew’s PTM (parents teacher meeting). I think I am an okay babysitter as they were cool with me and had fun. We played some good educational online games on http://www.uptoten.com while Molly had fun running here and there (still in the phase of having fun walking all by herself lol), I like that girl’s confidence a lot too, she wouldn’t care if it was the end of the couch or bed and would continue to walk and you had to make sure you were there to catch her lol. She has not understood yet that she can’t pull my hair off or sit on my head haha. It is certainly a great fun to be around her.

I love my nephew a lot too, he is a very obedient and patient kid compared to this generation where kids start throwing tantrums the moment you said a no to them. He seemed very happy around me and enjoyed the analytical and memory games we played together J.

The only problem was that I couldn’t cook for them haha, I am a bad cook and know only basics. And since their parents took long than the expectations, we were dependent on crackers only lol.

I got to chat with few of OD friends too but their boyfriends had to get online at the same time, grrrr.

My sister cooked some nice South Indian dishes for me and that was great too, she made some Idli, Uttapam and Sambhar and I had fun eating them J.

And yeah, I got them their birthday gifts too J. Sis got a brown color leather purse while her hubby got a nice formal shirt. I tried on a few jeans for myself too but my legs are so thin that I never get the ‘right’ fit for me so forget it for now haha. But yeah, I enjoyed some nice Indian snacks with them J.
