Wish I’d taken another day off work. I had such a good time last night with KLynn and her family. But, i wanted to save my vacation time to spend with Shane. after today I’ll have 4 days a 3 hours of vacation time. I’ll use a day to go to CO on my birhday. so that will leave 3 days that I have to use by 7/20. Shane said he should be able to take time off after July 1. We’ll see. Anyway, KLynn’s family are kinda like the family I wish I had. Her parents said several times how glad they were to see me. They’ve only known me since I was 5. I wonder if I could call my boss and ask for an extra day off?? Wonder if that would go over well??

My vision is doing ok. I can see well to drive but reading is a big problem. I knew this because of my age. But I didn’t realize what a problem it would be. The doctor told me on Saturday to get the lowest prescription of reading glasses at the store if I had to have something to read but that it would take 2 weeks for my eyes to fully stabilize. Yesterday I went to the dollar store and bought cute red and white glasses that were 1.25 for $1. They work ok and help me read and work on the computer. It’s really a hassle last night I got into my room and it was 82 degrees. It was dark etc and even with my dollar store glasses I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the A/C. I had to call the front desk and they sent someone to help. Apparently I’d turned on the heat. Oh well.

I just had a leisurely breakfast and I’m going to go drive around and look at scenery. Then later I’m meeting up with KLynn and her family and I’ll spend a few hours with them before heading home.
