Had my LASIK today it was an interesting experience. It wasn’t too bad until the numbing drops started wearing off then I started feeling a lot of discomfort and my eyes started watering like crazy. I went to my sister’s and laid on her couch with my eyes closed for awhile. I was really miserable for awhile. I eventually got up when I started to feel better. The watery eyes have gotten better and my eyes feel kinda “gritty”, kinda like there’s something in them. For the first 24 hours I have to wear sunglasses indoors and out and put in antibiotic and steroid drops in my eyes 4 times a day for the next 5 days. They also gave me some goggles to wear while I’m sleeping. I have an appointment tomorrow morning to make sure everything is OK. My vision is still pretty blurry but the doctor said it should be much better by tomorrow morning.

That was my big excitement for the day!

Congrats!!! Rich had his LASIK done in 1999 and it was the same you are feeling now. Next time he was almost done. It was worth the discomfort he just said.

My friend just had LASIK, too, and she LOVES the fact that she can actually see now, LOL! Hope everything is much better for you in the morning! 🙂

I’m so proud of you for doing this and I’m happy b/c you will enjoy it. I would have done it if they had it 30 yrs ago but now I’m wearing tri focal s and have been 15 yrs. Good luck and take it easy.
