Shane called last night and said that there was a wildfire near his house and that they issued an evacuation order. I haven’t heard from him today but it looks on the Internet that they’re letting people back I into their houses now.
Reservations have been made for my trip to CO. I leave on my birthday.
Getting nervous about LASIK. My car is acting up again. I think something may have gotten wet when I drove through the water Friday night. I’m supposed to take it in tomorrow. Speaking of Friday Shane called me Friday during the storms and got freaked out when the tornado sirens went off. Tornado Sirens are just a song of spring for an Okie.
I have to go to court this afternoon. Other than that not much going on.
So you don’t even “run for cover” when you hear the sirens?! How do you know when it’s time to get worried??

i have a friend in wichita who runs for cover every time her noaa radio goes off or she hears the sirens. every time. she said you just never know when it’s for real. i’m glad you are getting to see shane soon. take care,

Have a safe trip to CO. That fire was pretty bad from what I saw on TV. Glad you guys have worked things out.

After Joplin we took the sirens seriously last spring but they have not gone off yet this year.
