NoJoMo- I believe today’s entry is about ‘the one that got away’…

I will say that I’m thrilled that the one that got away, did in fact, get away from me. He and I dated before I met Matt. He doesn’t need or deserve a whole paragraph about himself and the things he did. I can say that he is totally opposite from Matt, and that Matt opened my eyes to what a good guy should be, how a good guy treats a girl, what he says, how he acts, who his friends are, etc.

The person before Matt has since tracked me down recently and tried his best to have me forgive him for his past. I admit, I hold a grudge. I’ll never forget how he treated me. I didn’t really say much to him at all in response. I didn’t let him off the hook. I think that he has some serious issues he needs to deal with before seeing anyone else.

I look back and say to myself, ‘why did I waste my time on THAT guy?’ And then I just laugh.

Happy Monday to you all 🙂

i think we all have one like that…the things we go through to learn how great “the one” really is!

Mmm…do you mind reading the last paragraph in the entry ‘I just need that last one’ in my diary. I was kind of writing about you (you’ll see what I mean). What exactly is the attraction between Texans and Brits? 😉

how fabulous that there is a “one” to make you realize how much the other one sucked. 🙂
