May 2-4

Well, it seems like it’s been such a long time. I still really don’t have the desire to write here anymore. I probably should since I have lots to says. I really should try to write in here more often- maybe I’ll make a point of updating at least 2 times a week.

In the past month, not too much has happened haha. I have been working at Pete’s (the grocery store) in the fruit department. It’s going alright. I have mixed feelings. It’s nice to know what I want to do so I know that if I don’t like what I am doing, it will always get better. On the plus side, I am almost done there. I have to start thinking of when I am going to put in my 2 weeks notice. I am planning on having August 1 as my last day. I think that would finish me off in a pay period…or half-way through one. Either way, I would end on my Friday, so that would probably be a good note to leave on.

Krys and I just recently took a trip to PEI for a few days. It was really nice. We left on Monday and took the ferry from Caribou, NS to Wood Islands, PEI. Then we drove the hour or less to Charlottetown. We saw the sights within about 4 hours of walking around haha. It’s a really small city. Population, about 40 000. The population of PEI is 130 000 haha. Anyway, the next day we drove up to PEI National Park and saw the beautiful white sand dunes, Green Gables, and all of those really touristy sites. It was so nice there. If I lived in NS, I would probably work toward buying a cottage on the north shore of PEI. We camped in West-Prince at Mill River PP. It just opened and we were the only ones there for the night. It was a pretty nice place to sleep. The third day we made our way up to the very north-west tip of the island and then drove down the western coast to the Confederation Bridge. The red cliffs and the ocean were gorgeous. I loved it too. It was neat but also weird seeing the coast of New Brunswick for alot of the trip. All in all, PEI is a really gorgeous place. It looked alot like southern Ontario but with red soil, and the ocean really close. It’s also really small so driving around the island takes no time at all.

We managed to squeeze in a stop to the PEI Potato Museum in O’Leary haha. It was pretty amazing. . . . but not really. The giant potato out front looked like a giant turd haha. We did learn some interesting things, but all in all….it’s a potato museum.

I think that’s it for now. I will try to update more often.
