Judging?

I am very confused about judging, and I’m generally Not a confused person.  "Family" was losing an argument with me, so she brought out of her hip pocket, "Don’t judge me, only God has that right.

Um.  No he’s not the only one with that right.  I invested too much time explaining to her that I judge people every day, we all do.  I used to live next door to a family whose favorite word to scream was every possible use of the word fuck.

I judged them to be of lower intelligence then myself, seeing how they had such a limited vocubulary…and I also judged them to not be worthy company of my children.  I judged a man in a restaurant trying to buy my child a candy bar.  I had seen his picture on the sexual registry.  I judged him not worthy of indulging my child and insulted him to boot.

I took the question to a church for some possible clarity.  They gave me permission to judge actions, but not judge their soul to hell.  That part is left up to God.  Unless you aren’t baptised…then they can judge your soul 🙁

who gave them the right to make that last statement. I think they are above their responsibility and need to step back down and allow others to be as they will xxx

Not who, what. It was the good book to give them the right, and said book swears God is a vengeful God. I don’t agree, and absolutely ‘religions’ over step! xxx

A lot of Christians don’t believe that last bit. More Jesus loves everyone sort of thing. It gets overly complicated in my opinion.

Agreed; how can you help hold someone accountable if you don’t judge them for what they are doing?

And I judge you for using the word “endulging” instead of “indulging”. You’re totally going to hell!
