What’s Wrong With Me, You Ask? [Picture] *EDIT*

I’m doing my thing last night and getting ready for bed and I put my little laptop (my life, by the way) on Standby and put that baby on the floor next to the bed.  I go to the bathroom and wash my face and come back in to check something one last time before I lay down.  I open the laptop, push the little blinking power button, and this is what I see:

I cried.  Almost as much as when I hit the dog.

I sure hope my warranty is still good.  (I got the laptop in March.)

Yeah.  Nothing worked.  I spent an hour on the phone with a girl from Compaq doing all sorts of things from unplugging and replugging the RAM to recovering the drivers, etc. , even completely reformatted tonight.  Looks like I’ll be paying a visit to FedEx tomorrow.  On the plus side, though, the girl told me that since I’m still under warranty (yay!), Compaq foots the entire bill.  I just want my baby to be okay!  Yes, my baby.  Bite me.
