I’m at work and pretty much finished with my day, so why not waste a little time sorting out my thoughts (albeit superficial ones) ’round here?

Britney Files For Divorce~
Big shock here.  However, the fact that the filing coincided with her "surprise" appearance on Letterman last night (in which she showed off her sans bebe body in a skimpy outfit), I can’t help but think that Miss Spears really misses her childhood.  And, I know it might be wrong, but until I see proof that K-Fe…I can’t do it.  KEVIN.  When I see proof that Kevin cheated or beat her or shook little Jayden or something, I’m going to feel sorry for him.  I mean, yeah, he might be a bit of a mooch, but he’s actually not done anything to show that he’s been in it for the money – perhaps the fame, but we all see how that worked out.  And to be quite honest, he could be stupid, but at least he’s not running away from the shame.  He’s still standing around, head held high.  Don’t get me wrong – they’re still white trash, but I’ve always thought that it’s always best when trash stays in the same bag.  Just seems to me that she’s thinking that being married and being a mom is holding her back and somebody wants to get dressed up in that red leather outfit again.

My connection to this saga?  Her lawyer’s office is on Century Park East – which is just a few miles east of here.  I pass it every morning on my way to work.  LA might be huge, but it’s a small world.

Faith Hill Freaks Out at the CMAs~
Possibly the best awards show footage of anyone’s reaction to losing…ever.  Faith is going to have to do some MAJOR PR to build her sweet and innocent, "I love everyone" image back up.  While country music doesn’t matter to most people, everyone knows who Faith Hill is and we all have a strong belief (or did) that she wouldn’t be able to hurt a fly.  But she looked like she was ready to give Carrie Underwood the beat down.
 
Ah, Faith.  It’s imperative now, more than ever, that you remember that people have TiVo.

My connection to this saga?  Well, I don’t really have one, but this was just too hilarious to pass up.

Superman Winks at Me~
Yes, yes.  The rumors are true.  Last Wednesday, Dean Cain was in the office for a meeting and I had stepped out.  When I stepped back in, he was sitting in my lobby.  He’s pretty.  Anyway…he went into his meeting with the others (not to be confused with The Others), and when they came out, they all stood around my desk, which is common practice for people when they have a meeting with Jeremy.  What is NOT common practice, however, is for the celebrity to stand right in front of me.  Dean did this.  I’ve sort of taken on a "eh…they’re human.  They poop like everyone else.  They’re here doing business." mentality about celebrities when they come in the office, so I wasn’t all swooshy about him standing there, but I did think he was pretty.  He glanced down at me a few times and about the third or fourth time, when he caught my eye, he winked at me.  I immediately thought, hee hee!  I’m cute!.  So, I’m one of a few (probably actually hundreds or thousands) girls who can say that Superman winked at her.  It was a nice moment.  And it was enough for me.

My connection to this saga?  Hello?!  I’m the chick that Superman winked at!  Woohoo!

And I think y’all have probably had enough of me for now.
