like cats and dogs

Hey everybody! It’s raining like cats and dogs in topeka, and I’m so depressed because I wanted to see the farmer’s market at the library. ☹  But the good news is that I finally got the book “Burn for Burn” (by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian, the latter is one of my favorite authors) at the library yesterday, even though it was partly cloudy.  One of my friends even said there was tornado weather brewing, which thankfully, never materialized.  I’m almost finished with my hoopla novel “Truly Devious” also.  (It’s #1 in a series of god knows how many books. I think I read that the next one is coming in Jan. Really guys???)  The weather channel said it’s going to rain for like, 48 hours straight, so I guess I’m going to jazzercise in the rain.  It’s no big deal.  Once I went when there were small chunks of hail.  ☹  At least I have some backup books to keep me company!
