My story pg 17
When we finally arrived it was amazing. Right off the water, a huge campus. Green trees, calm breeze It looked like a paradise. There were 3 log cabins, One for the girls and two for the boy’s (Since there were more boys then girls). they had one large room with about 12 bunk beds, a small room for the boss which was separate from the main room and a bathroom. We picked our beds out. Since there were only 5 of us there was plenty of space. We unpacked and met in the recreational center for a introduction. There were a bunch of buildings on this campus, as I mentioned there were 3 log cabins for students to sleep. A kitchen/mess hall for dining, a old fog horn building down by the water which was used as a science classroom, a pole bard and shed for the equipment needed to keep maintenance of on the campus and a recreational center which had 3 class rooms, a office for teachers and the garn room which was where the wood stove was located. The wood stove heated the whole campus every building. Including the light house about 100 yards up the hill which was part of the campus. The light house had the main building attached to it still and that’s where the principle of the school lived. Or in our case Ken the boss. Steve stayed in the cabin with us I’m sure he loved that….
