Work sucks

I think it’s universal, every job has  some wingnuts or bitches or assholes that you’re going to have to work with.  We finally got rid of my manager that hated me and managed her friends and boyfriend.  Shortly afterwards, her friend, the one she promoted over me, quit becuase she couldn’t work with the new manager.  The boyfriend remains.  In a weird twist, my old manager is now in our grooming department.

So we’re still having trouble with  the boyfriend.  He still does a crappy job of opening, doesn’t do much work and talks to everyone with a condescending tone.  Now, that his girlfriend is in grooming, he’s drenching himself with water then complaining that he needs to go over to grooming to use the blow dryer to dry off.  He’s also calling her and chatting with her on the store phone.  AND he told the store manager that he’s gotten 4 complaints against me in the last week.  (I can’t tell you how many I’ve gotten about my co-workers, I don’t really keep track of it… I’ll have to start counting the complaints I get against him now).  THEN, he broke a peice of equipment… a filter we need to keep a couple thousand feeder fish alive, and left, without telling me, or a manager, that anything was wrong with it.  Becuase of a scheduling error, when he left, I was alone for the evening.  So I had to get 2 managers from other areas to come over and work on the filter while I tried to help customers and keep the fish from dieing.  On Friday, he complained that I had broken the filter.  I didn’t touch the damn thing until after he already broke it and he knows that.  He’s going to hear about this!  I’m also going to go to the store manager.

I’m pretty sure he’s got it out for me becuase:
 1. he thinks that I was the main force behind his girlfriend loosing her job (they asked to her transfer to another store where she wouldn’t be managing family & friends & she quit instead)
2. last week, he got to work and started grilling me about how the new manager does this and that and complaining that she doesn’t do stuff right (she did everything exactly by the book!), and she needs to do stuff differently, so I told the new manager and she went and chewed him out (he denied saying anything to me about her)
3. same day last week, he gave me a list of stuff to do, I was already working on other stuff, he was piddling around, taking an hour and half to do 15 minutes of work, refusing to help customers and generally being a pain in my ass, I flat out refused to anything he told me to do

So he’s pissed and now it seems he’s trying to get me fired.  I’ll have to do something about this.
