Looong day .. we bought a truck though

It’s been a long day, I was wasted, went to bed early last night (and probably will tonight too), and got up earlier then ususal this morning, even though I would have liked to have slept in.

It now hurts my chest, from the inside, to bend, twist, step, breathe, or move my arms. You can imagine how much fun this is. I’m ok for about 1/2 haour after I take my pain killers, but then it’s back.  Why am I still sick!  WTF is going on here.  This is the earache from hell, I swear.

Rob made me breakfast, then we drove to my parents’ house to return their truck. That’s about 40 minutes each way. I didn’t feel up to driving myself home, so Rob drove me in to clean the office. He also helped me clean.

As soon as we were done there, I had to go to the bank. I needed to wire money to a friend. My friend is in Germany, but her bank account is with a US bank, in Texas. We have branches here in Indiana, but none close. I should have known I was in trouble when it took 3 phone calls to get the current exchange rate for the Euro ($1.38). The manager of my bank had never heard of her bank, couldn’t look it up even though I had the routing number and her account number and name, and wasted half an hour of me time, telling me that Wells Fargo isn’t a bank

I went home, looked the bank up online, got a routing number for wire transfers and returned to the bank. He gave me the same song and dance. I explained that this is their wire transfer routing numbers straight from the Wells Fargo website. Then he decided to pull up the Wells Fargo website on his computer… during our first conversation he told me that he didn’t have any way to look up the routing number of a different bank that wasn’t in his computer program (he also told me that Wells Fargo only has 3 branches, in NY). He found some number on the website, a different number then the number I found, and tried that. It didn’t work, so he tried the number I gave him again, this time he typed Wells Fargo, instead of WELLS FARGO and it worked. I could have slapped him.

That took another 45 minutes… I swear, maybe it would have been better to drive the 2 hours to the bank and make a day trip of it.

As soon as I got home, my brother called. He got out of class early and was already at the gas station we agreed to meet at. So we rushed to meet him. We took a chance that the sales manager at the dealership would be there early for our meeting and he was. So we were able to look at / buy the truck earlier then planned, but it still took awhile.

The truck is cool, the car lot was better then I expected

Now I’m exhausted, but I have to wait a little longer for the hot water to regenerate.
