Finally, an entry!

Yippee!  I’ve been having the damnest time writing an entry.  First I didn’t have any time becuase of work, then I couldn’t get the ‘write’ page to load, or to save my entries after I typed them, then my computer went crazy and IE crashed everytime I tried to enter text anywhere.  Just one PITA after another.

So now for updates.

The puppy is doing well, growing fast and showing more and more personality.  She’s a dominant little bitch!  Already tring to exert her will on me!!  Amazingly, Panzer, my control freak of a dog, and Chaos, the Chaotic one, adore the little puppy… females don’t ussually get along, but they both love Pandy.  She’s also infatuated with Havoc.  She’s doing big dog stuff now, like going outside to potty with the big dogs and going to her crate for meals.  Her crate has been moved out into the big dog area now too.  Cute pictures coming soon, probably at my zoo diary though.

Karen (aka KTG) had 2 weeks off, we managed to get to the zoo.  I took lots of pictures (as ussual).  They have meercats and 2 baby elephants that are OMG cute!

Unfortunately, the day we went to the zoo, I should have gone to the doctor.  That was 3 weeks ago and I just got to the doctor yesterday, becuase I had to call off work all weekend.  My ears are insanely infected, and the infection has crawled into my sinuses, down my throat and is working on getting in my lungs.  We’re not going to let it, of course. I’m set up with antibiotics and decongestants.  I’m going to take my muscle relaxor at bedtime too and hopefully get some good rest.

Due to the (ongoing, ever changing) illness, I didn’t get some of my bigger projects done.  I still have a fish tank, lizard terrarium and frog terrarium that I want to set up, and I didn’t get the kitchen painted before it got cold and we still haven’t gotten to putting hte plastic over the windows.  I did get some Christmas crafting done though.  I’m knitting scarves for family members.  I finished the one for my mom, it was a real PITA due to the yarn I choose, but it’s a beautiful brindly color… looks like my girl Chaos.  I also knit myself a little pumpkin and a turkey for Thanksgiving!  Now I’m working on my sister’s scarf.  It’s turning out awesome and knitting up quickly.  I started it in the waiting room at the doctor’s office this afternoon and I’m already about 1/4 done.  At this rate, I’ll have it finished and on to the next one this week.

I promise to post some pictures soon, as soon as I feel less like I’m going to fall out of my chair LOL
