Icky Day!

We started getting snow this morning, and then it sputtered a bit before changing to icy sleet. Yikes! I love snow, but I don’t like anything icy. The good thing was that Bill had taken off work today, so he took me to work so I could get some essentials done, and then he came and got me at lunch. So we had the afternoon together!

I am happy to report that I finally got the Christmas tree down. *L* I never want to do it. I love my tree. We eased ourselves into it by not turning the lights on the last week. It’s the light that makes it such a special thing of beauty. And now I’ve decided to re-arrange the living room!

Glad you made it safely in the ice too. We had snow and a little ice. Waiting on the warm up next week. I love the lights too..that warm soft glow. I usually always have a candle burning. TY for your note 🙂

I’m like you- I just LOVE the Christmas tree! We didn’t really have much of one this past year because of the fire. But THIS year, being in our new house now, well, WATCH OUT! LOL I wish we would get some snow- it’s just so pretty, and being a former upstate New Yorker I just miss it. Hugs,M
