Update on life
Okay…so here’s what’s new…
Pat is seriously trying to get admitted to St. Louis University. If he gets in we will (again) move out there. This is good because that’s right where we want to be. Back home in the St. Louis area.
I know what I’m getting for our annivesery in March. He’s taking me to New York City to stay at a nice hotel for a few days and go see Rent on Broadway. We are going to take a carriage ride around Central Park, go see the Statue of Liberty, and Ground Zero. Promise to take TONS of pics, including buying a hotdog from a street vendor and stuffing it in my face! YAY!
Teaching is going well. It’s not at all what I thought it would be. I spend half the time pretending I know what I’m doing and the other half hanging on to what everybody else is doing. My students ARE learning though. I have an aide, a reading specialist, and a math specialist come into my room and they all say that my kids are doing well. That makes me feel better about it all.
It’s bed time, so….nighty night.
This is supposed to be my last year of school, but I had a “minor” setback last year that put me behind, plus there was a semester where I mainly worked and only took a couple of classes, putting me further behind. So, end of next year or possibly even the summer I should be done, unless I decide to go to graduate school. Wheeeee.
