This is nice…

I am sitting at my mom’s house just relaxing. I did finally manage to get here on Friday. Apparently right after I got here the airlines took a s_hit. Hopefully by tomorrow night they’ll have things put back and I’ll be able to get home.

Christmas was nice. My favorite present to get was a ceramic frog dressed up as Elvis. I love frogs and Elvis, so it’s a double whammy! The favorite present I gave was my big sis’s penguin. I couldn’t find a bag to fit it, so I just stuffed its head into a bag and put her name on it…It was funny.

Unfortunately the bliss didn’t last. Apparantly she’s now mad at me because I wouldn’t go see her dogs at my other sis’s house and then when I went out I didn’t hug her good bye. She was leaving the next morning and I won’t see her again. I understand why she’s mad about me not saying good bye properly, but she doesn’t have to be a psycho about it. Hopefully this will blow over before May.

Another sad note is that Butter, my at least 6 year old ferret had a crisis right after I left. He had all sorts of drainage coming out of his ear. Pat took him to the emergency vet, but they aren’t very ferret knowledgable. They gave him some ear drops and gave us a reccomendation for a ferret vet. He now has an appointment on Friday. I don’t want to put him to sleep, but…we’ll do what it takes to make sure he’s happy.
