Magnolia Blossom
There are these two trees outside my apartment, and I thought that they were just regular trees. Their leaves were broad and dark green, and they just looked like young trees. Well the other day I noticed rather large buds on it. Today it bloomed. They are magnolia trees. I’ve never seen a magnolia tree in real life. I smelled the blossom and it is my new favorite scent. Oh so sweet and mild. I can’t wait for the other blossoms to come. I hope it will fill the air with beauty.

Oh, I so don’t want to put a damper on this. But wait until it gets hot and the blossoms fall off and you have moldy magnolia smell coming in your window. But I could just be cynical from growing up in a house that was “blessed” with magnolia trees. But they are beautiful. And mine was a good climbing tree.
