Flat tire

Nothing like a flat tire to start your Monday. And of course I had to work so fixing it properly had to wait until after I picked Kenzie up from Pre-k.

So there I was driving to work when all of a sudden I hear some clanking. I’ve run over bits and pieces before, so no big deal. Wrong. About a mile later I heard the muffled slump sound of a deflated tire. I pulled over as soon as I could to check it out. Sure enough it was flat. I called roadside assistance and then my husband. He needed to come get Kenzie and take her to school while I waited for the repair. Keeping an almost 4 year old safe and entertained on the side of the road is not fun.

So the spare gets put on and I take it to the shop. And here I sit. 4 hours later. Waiting. First i had to wait my turn. Then, They had to drive to the next town over to get my tire. In rush hour. And now I’m just waiting. I hate waiting.

Monday can suck it.

I bet you she went to school SO, so excited though, telling everyone about her super cool morning adventure.

That does not sound fun at all. Flat tires seem to be a reoccurring theme in our home.
